KIDS IN LOCKDOWN
Wow. Just when we thought we were getting into the swing of the school year (that usually happens in February right?) the rug got pulled out from beneath us! What are you doing with/for/to your kids right now that is helping you survive?

I listened to a great special on the Goop Podcast the other day called “Reducing Anxiety for Kids.” I loved it and it made me want to declutter my whole house. We’ve been loving this game.
We’ve also been making Muddy Buddies a lot and involving them more in the kitchen. Also, I got SO sick of them asking me “What do we have?” for breakfast, snacks and lunch that I made menus! I folded a piece of paper and made it look like a real menu - listed all the options and it’s worked like a charm. It’s also helpful to have when its time to grocery shop…I refer to it to see what we need to replenish on.
Also, continuing my weekly therapy sessions has been key…they’re over the phone now. - Trudi in Orinda
